
Housekeeping Guidelines:
Cleaning & Laundry
C L E A N I N G

Clean up after yourself, whichever room you are in.
No time? Make time. -
You are responsible for cleaning and maintaining your bedroom.
This includes :-
Keeping the floor clear

Dusting, vacuuming
-
Collecting garbage/ recycling every week (see: “Garbage & Recycling”)

Since the bathroom is shared, you must make arrangements with the other students
and take turns cleaning it at least once a week.
This includes:-
Sink
-
Toilet
-
Mirror, counters, & floor
-
Bringing down the garbage (see: “Garbage & Recycling”)

Cleaning supplies are provided, located under the sink.

We will occasionally check to make sure everything is in order.
SUGGESTION: Light cleaning after every use is much easier for everyone than waiting for the dirt to build up.
G A R B A G E & R E C Y C L I N G

Bring down garbage and recyclables every Wednesday evening when you come down for dinner and leave it in front of the laundry room.
Make sure to:-
Separate recyclables from other garbage.

Please flatten any empty boxes

Separate any used clothing, shoes, anything unwanted and we will have it donated.

L A U N D R Y

Please turn your clothes inside-out.

During the week, collect your laundry in the designated basket in your room.

On Monday evening when you come down for dinner drop off your basket in front of the laundry room
-
Remember to pick up your laundry when it's ready.

Clothes dropped off later, will be ready to pick up later.

Clothes that are not picked up after a week, will be donated.

Dry cleaning is NOT included.
This includes:-
Leather, fur, silk, delicate materials, etc.

Check the clothing label on the inside to make sure.
